I came in Denmark to study Multimedia Design and Communication with high ambitions about myself. When I was planning to come in Denmark, I was thinking to continue my referee career also here, I’ve heard only good things about DBU in my country.

I’ve had my first theoretical test in Tilst at the DBU Jylland location which was a really surprising one for me, not as what I expected. In Romania our tests was still in the old style, staying at a table and writing everything on a paper. I like the way how I was tested here.
My first match in Denmark was in Odder (training match) where I was a linesman, I was really happy about it because It was my first match after 8 months.
Another great part was the mentoring part, where Michael Neergaard was my mentor. He helped me to learn how is the Danish football and how I should judge here. My first match with him as a mentor was a 18 years old girls in Aarhus where I was, surprising for me, a referee. In Romania I had activity only as a linesman where I was developed for local and high divisions by Marchis Dan (ex First Division linesman) and Szekely Zoltan (ex FIFA Linesman). I was really surprised that I didn’t have any linesmans, in Romania you have linesman also to the small children. I’ve started with small childrens matches and Serie 2 matches as linesman, I’ve worked hard and in April, Michael gave me the good news that I was promoted to Jylland Serrie as a linesman. I debuted in DanmarkSerien this season with a training match. I’m really thankful to Michael for helping me being a better referee!
I have really high ambitions about myself in the referee career. I already started to learn and speak Danish and I want to be developed to 2.division linesman and in some years my goal is SuperLigaen.
